Rural Doniphan resident Mildred A. (Hill) Seely, 77, died Thursday, November 2, 2000, at her home.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Monday at Apfel-Butler-Geddes Funeral Home in Grand Island with the Rev. Kenneth McCain officiating. Burial will be in the Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation is 4-9 p.m. with family present from 6-8 p.m. Sunday
Mrs. Seely was born November 5, 1922, to William and Mattie (Pierson) Hill in Holbrook. She married Lloyd Seely in Norton, Kan. They lived in Doniphan area where they farmed. Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors are two sons, Robert of Grand Island and Thomas of Donipahn; three daughters, Peggy Lipps of St. Libory and Joyce Seely and Judy Seely, both of Doniphan; and seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the St. Francis Hospice in Grand Island or American Cancer Association.
