Odette Ponson Seely, 92, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 6:45 p.m. Sept. 5, 2003.
Visitation will be from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Co-cathedral in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
She is survived by her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Donna F. Lester and Joey Lester.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irby “Dub” Seely Sr.; parents, Walter and Mathilde Montet Ponson; son, I.J. “Dubbie” Seely Jr.; daughter, Joan “Susie” S. Ford; grandson, Duane Ford; great-granddaughter, Charisse Gravois; two brothers; and two sisters.
