Seely Robert D. Seely, age 78, of Zumbrota, MN, died 2/12/05 on Sanibel Island, FL. Preceded in death by beloved wife of 47 years, Irene Seely. Survived by children, Christina Gilfillan, Joe Seely, Trish Rasmussen (Dave); grandchildren, Peter Gilfillan (Shannon), Elizabeth Jacobson (Dave), Margot, Sam and Michael Seely; 7 great-grandchildren, Alex, Sarah, Kate and Lauren Gilfillan, Alexis, Olivia and Sophia Jacobson; and also special friend, Mae Stee. Bob was known for his sense of humor and kind and generous heart. He owned Bob Seely Ford in Zumbrota for 25 years. He was involved for many years in the Republican Party and was delegate to the National Convention. He loved boating on the Mississippi River with his family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Mahn Funeral Home in Zumbrota on Friday, Feb. 25th from 5:30-7:30 PM. Services will be held at United Redeemer Church in Zumbrota on Saturday, Feb. 26th at 2:00 PM. Memorials preferred to the Zumbrota Library.
