Madison – Roberta L. “Bobbie” (Church) Seely, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Meriter Hospital in Madison. She was born on October 27, 1938, in Madison, the daughter of Harry and Ethel (Goodwin) Church. On July 8, 1961, she married LeRoy Seely. Roberta was a lifetime member of VFW 8483 Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping at Indian Trails in Pardeeville, gaming, and jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of Bashford United Methodist Church.
Bobbie is survived by her sister, Barbara Church; stepson, Jerry (Vicky) Seely; stepdaughter, Chris Hinz; step grandchildren, Phillip (Casey) Seely, Jennifer (Jeff) Roberts, and Rachel Turnham; 10 step-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A visitation will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. Washington Ave., Madison, on Sunday, June 4, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Highland Memory Gardens on Monday, June 5, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Brenda Wingfield officiating.
