Tilden Randall “T.R.” Seely died Christmas evening at Triumph Hospital in Baytown after a lengthy illness. He was 72.
Mr. Seely was born in Chillicothe, Tx., but lived much of his life in Baytown. He was a carpenter by trade and was vice president of Fleetwood Construction Co. in Houston before moving to Austin and starting his own firm. He returned to Baytown more than 10 years ago and was manager of an apartment complex until his death.
A memorial service for Mr. Seely will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. John’s Methodist Church in Baytown.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jo-Ann Smith Seely; three sons, Randall Lee Seely, Richard Lynn Seely and James Daniel Seely, all of Baytown; three daughters, Linda Seely Gilchriest of Atascocita; Jeannette Seely Stubbs of Baytown and Susan Seely Guerra of Houston; mother, Ruby Lee Seely of Dallas; sister, Shirley Seely Merek, also of Dallas; and eight grandchildren
