WILL E. SEELY, A BENTONIAN 81 YEARS, IS DEAD

William E. Seely, 83 years old, a resident of Benton county 81 years, died Monday at 7:00 a.m. at his Vinton home after an illness of two months with old age complications. He retired here about twenty years ago from a farm east of Vinton.

Born in Ohio on March 16, 1851, Mr. Seely came to Benton county when two years old with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Seely. He was married to Miss Alice Dorsey, March 18, 1873. Mrs. Seely died two years ago last September.

Children surviving Mr. Seely are: Dell and Henry Seely of Humbolt, Nebr., Thomas Seely of Boise, Idaho, Will, Steve and Charles Seely, Mrs. Lillian Cushing, Mrs. Melissa Bingaman and Mrs. Nellie Duncklee, of Vinton, and Mrs. Minnie Holcomb of Albuquerque, N.M.

The family includes nineteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Two half brothers living are George and Chas. Seely.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the residence by the Rev. W.W. Williams of the Church of Christ. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
