Brenda D. Sealy, a resident of Theodore, passed away on July 16, 2017, at the age of 75. Mrs. Sealy is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Minnie Lee Lynn; brothers, Fred Alton Robinson and Edward Leo Lynn; and sisters, Ann Koger and Rowena Ledbetter. Mrs. Sealy is survived by her husband of 59 years, Vertis G. Sealy, Sr.; children, Deborah Green (Benny), Darrell Sealy (Melody), Harold Sealy (Christie), and Vertis “Jerry” Sealy, Jr. (Pam); eleven grandchildren, Heather Garcia, Corey Green, Brandon Green, Breanna Green, Joshua Sealy, Gwen Sealy, Kristen Sealy Lee, Angela Sealy Seaman, Nickolas Sealy, Peggy Sealy Hubbard and Darrell J. “DJ” Sealy; ten great-grandchildren, Austin Garcia, Alex Garcia, Zack Garcia, Braxton Green, Samantha Collier, Haleigh Collier, Savannah Dorman, John Greyson Hubbard, Cohen Sealy, Jayden Sealy; niece, Sheila Makowitch and great-niece, Nanci Makowitch; other family members and friends. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home at 12:00 noon with a visitation prior to the service to begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Reverend Ellen Lesley will be officiating the service. Pallbearers will be: Brandon Green, Corey Green, Joshua Sealy, Austin Garcia, Alex Garcia, Zack Garcia.
