Douglas “Wayne” Sealy
Douglas “Wayne” Sealy, age 74, of Columbia, passed away at Signature Healthcare in Columbia on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
Wayne was born on June 6, 1943 to the late Truman and Polly Sealy. He was a loving father and a hard worker. He was well known for being a “cutup” and entertaining his family and friends.
Wayne is survived by his daughter: Barbara Overstreet; Stepdaughter: Lisa (Danny) Everette; Granddaughters: Heather and Brittany Burns and Cousin: Cheryl Tates. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will visit with friends on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 at 12 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 2:30pm in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Bob Vassar officiating. Military honors will be provided by The American Legion Herbert Griffin Post 19. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Wayne’s family and friends.
