Elmer R. “Jim” Sealy
1929 – 2019
Elmer R. “Jim” Sealy passed into God’s arms on January 8, 2019. He was born in Edgewood, MD in 1929 and resided in Secane, Ridley Township. Jim was a U.S Navy Korean War veteran and retiree of Boeing after 36 years in the facility department. He was also a member of Amvets post #118, American Legion Post #0777, and a member of Concordia Lodge No. 67 F & AM. Survivors: Jim was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, survived by wife of 66 years, Lois M. Sealy. He was a loving father of children Mary Elizabeth Fritz (Jack), Gerard R. Sealy (Julie), and Judith-Marie Huggins (Dave). Also, a cherished Pop-Pop of granddaughters Sara and Alyssa Meehan. Dearest brother of Vera Keithley (the late John Robert) of Aberdeen, MD. Also surviving is treasured brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and friends, Winfield “Sonny” and Laverne Ziegenfuss and their family. Jim loved and enjoyed the companionship of his dogs and cats over the years, especially his surviving fur-babies, Josie and Curly, who brought much joy, laughter, and comfort. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 12, 2019 at 10am at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA 19036. Burial: St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warriors Project; PO Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675 would be appreciated.
