ROCK HILL, S.C. – Harry Eugene “Donnie” Sealy, 67, of 1477 Buford Court, passed away July 19, 2011, at his home.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2011, at Grandview Memorial Park–Hollis Lakes Road with the Rev. Josh McClendon officiating.
Full military honors will be conducted by a U.S. Army Honor Guard from Fort Jackson Army Base.
A native of the Township of Baton Rouge in Chester County, S.C., Donnie was a son of the late Jack and Janie Sealy Reeves. A member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He was a Vietnam veteran and retiree of the U.S. Army, having served for 26 years. He also retired from Piedmont Distribution Technology in Charlotte where he worked as a warehouseman following his military service.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Marthers Sealy, of the home; his son, Donald Sealy, also of the home; his daughter, Ann Marie Bach and husband, David, of Dallas; his sister, Jane Talley; his grandson, Nicholas Bach; and his beloved pet poodle, Max.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Ernest Campbell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Bethel Methodist Church, 1232 Curtis Street, Rock Hill, SC 29732 or to Epworth Children’s Home, P.O. Box 50466, Columbia, SC 29250.
