Mr Harry Spencer Sealy Jr, 79
BRANCHVILLE SC- Mr. Harry Spencer Sealy Jr., 79 years of age, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Mr. Sealy was born in Cuthbert GA, a son of the late Harry Spencer Sealy Sr. and India Bryant Sealy. Mr. Sealy was a retired funeral director with Ott Funeral Home in Branchville; he was in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict, a member of the Branchville Baptist church, a member of the Branchville Masonic lodge #110 A.F.M, an Omar Shriner, a past fire chief with the Branchville Fire Department, a former member of the Branchville Rescue Squad. Mr. Sealy was also a self employed taxidermist; he loved spending time with his family and friends; he was the widower of the late Ann McGinnis.
A memorial service was conducted Saturday, March 8, 2014, at 11:00 A.M., at Ott Cemetery in Branchville, with Rev. Steve Mims officiating.
He is survived by one daughter, Debra S. Hill (Bob) of Vance, one son David M. Sealy (Melinda) of Sandy Run, one brother, Jimmy Sealy (Barbara) of Cuthbert GA, four grand children, two great grand children, and a number of nieces and nephews.
