Jacqueline Ervenia Grandy Sealy, 60, of 603 Cale St., Elizabeth City, died on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011 at Alamance Regional Medical Center, Burlington. Funeral services for Mrs. Sealy will be held on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Holy Trinity Community Church with Rev. Charles Foster delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in New Oak Grove Cemetery. Viewing will take place at the funeral home on Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. The family will receive friends at the residence of the deceased. Jacqueline leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Mrs. Judith Davis Griffith of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one daughter, Tammy D. Overton of Dallas, Texas; one son, Reginald W. Overton of Charlotte; one brother, Darryle Griffith of Elizabeth City; two grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Sealy was preceded in death by her father, Ervin Grandy. Walson Funeral Home, 723 Parsonage St., is in charge of arrangements.
