June Helen Sealy

1932 – 2013

June Helen Sealy entered into rest July 4th, 2013 in Chico California. June was born to Henry and Eldora Broderson in Oakland California on September 4th, 1932. The family moved to Orland when she was 12. She was married to Elwin G. Sealy on June 4th, 1949. They made their home in Orland, later moving to Woodland for 8 years and then back to Orland. They enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting with their children. Loading everyone into the back of the pickup and heading to the mountains. She worked at Fairview School in the kitchen for several years, Orland orange growers and ran Elwin’s Repair shop with her husband before his death in 1977. Later she worked at Dole, retiring in 1994. June was predeceased by her husband Elwin ( 1977) and son Jimmy (2012). She is survived by her children, Gary Sealy (Wilda), Lenora Griffiths (Jack) of Orland, Mike Sealy (Mary) of Chico, and Dale Sealy (Teresa) of Gobel Arizona, 17 grandchildren of whom she loved to brag about and many great grandchildren. Graveside service for June will be held on Thursday, July 11th at 2:00PM at the IOOF Cemetery. Arrangements by F.D. Sweet & Son Orland.
