Sylvia Jane Sealy

Sylvia Jane (Wright) Sealy, 73, of Brownsville, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at home.
She was born December 28, 1945 in Royal, PA, the daughter of Orvel and Eleanor (Sanders) Wright. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mollie Wright, who raised her; husband Richard Sealy; brothers and sisters and special cousin, Darlene Webb.
Sylvia graduated from Redstone High School in 1963 and then attended Penn State Fayette Campus. She worked for AVI food service at California University of Pennsylvania for 25 years, retiring September 2016. Her and her husband, Richard, started Brownsville Ambulance Service.
She will be sadly missed by her sister Evelyn Jean Potchynok and husband Eugene, Perry, Michigan; best friend and caregiver, Cynthia Johnson, Brownsville, PA; several nieces and nephews and her animals, Snickers, Friskie and Kiki.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM and Tuesday, February 12, 2019 until 10:00 AM the hour of service with Pastor Dawn Hargraves officiating.
