Henry Dale Seeley

Nov. 11, 1929 ~ Jan. 4, 2017

Henry Dale Seeley was born November 11, 1929 to Dean Winters Seeley and Margaret Luella Abegglen Seeley in Fort Duchesne, Utah. He passed away January 4, 2017 after a long battle with Parkinsons Disease.

As the last survivor of his immediate family, he was looking forward to reuniting with them.

He graduated from East High in Salt Lake City in 1947. For many years he drove a taxi cab and then worked for the LDS Church. Later he helped the elderly by transporting them around town on various errands never needing GPS. The most difficult, yet most rewarding part of his life was caring for both of his parents for over a decade until they passed away. He also had a strong interest in family history. The highlight of his life was traveling to five different continents and attending Utah Jazz games with those he loved and cherished, especially Betty Parks. He claimed that the most beautiful place on earth was Logan Canyon during any season. He also enjoyed bowling and golf and still had his golf clubs when he passed away.
He truly loved his twelve nieces and nephews, along with his close neighbors and friends in Rose Park 2nd Ward of the LDS Church.

At his request, there will be no funeral service. He asks people not to mourn his passing, but to celebrate life. He donated his body to the University of Utah Medical School where he felt it would be of most good to humanity.
