Prairie Grove – Mrs. Emma Carnahan Seeley, 80, of Prairie Grove, died Tuesday in a Fayetteville hospital. Born April 1, 1896, at Viney Grove, the daughter of Samual LeFave and Mary Frances Cook Carnahan, she was a member of the Viney Grove Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son, Sherwood of Greenland; three daughters, Mrs. Clementine Hembree of Fayetteville, Mrs. Shirley Luttrell of West Siloan, Okla. and Mrs. Anna Jo Bowling of Prairie Grove; four brothers, Samual and Herbert Carnahan both of Viney Grove, Casvil Carnahan of Clovis, Calif., and Eugene Carnahan of Tulsa, Okla.; two sisters, Miss Mabel Carnahan of Ogden, Utah and Mrs. Pearl Carlew of Joplin, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Viney Grove Methodist Church with burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
