Danyel William Seeley
Mr. Danyel William Seeley, age 16, of Martin, GA, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at his home.
Born December 1, 1999 in Toccoa, he was a son of Bryon Steven and Devon Marie Henderson Seeley.
Danyel was a sophomore at Stephens County High School where he was involved with JROTC. He was also a member of North Trinity Baptist Church.
One of Danyel’s highlights was being able to meet Gunny R. Lee Ermey, an American actor, best known for his role as Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in the movie Full Metal Jacket. R. Lee Ermey is also a retired United States Marine Staff Sergeant and Drill Instructor. He also served 14 months in Vietnam and has been in many films. Danyel was able to meet him before he passed away.
Family members include his parents, Steve and Devon Henderson Seeley of the home; sister, Kaitlyn Seeley of the home; brothers, Tyler Seeley and Sean Seeley of the home; grandparents, Etta Seeley of Eastanollee, and Bill and Gloria Henderson of Mount Pleasant, PA; great-grandfather, Joseph Milosevich of Monessen, PA; and a great-grandmother, Doris Wyrick of Marshall, IL; and various aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at four o’clock Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at North Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Stephen Harris officiating.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm Tuesday, June 21, 2016.
