September 4, 1927 – April 26, 2016

Helen Louise Barber was born September 4th , 1927, in Hillsdale County, Camden, Michigan to George and Hazel (Fenstermaker) Seely. She was the oldest of four children. On July 3rd, 1947, Helen married Roy Barber at the Camden County Methodist Church. Their son George was born May 1, 1951. Shortly after, the family relocated to Rogers, Arkansas. Helen worked at the Russell’s Dime Store and Croxdale’s IGA before beginning her career with Glad Manufacturing, where she retired in 1991. After retirement, she spent time doing the things she loved which included baking and spending time with friends and family. Helen and Roy were married for 40 years before he passed away on October 20th, 1987. She is also preceded in death by her parents and two siblings: Don Seely and Donna Howald.

Helen is survived by her son, George Barber of Bentonville; sister, Marilyn Hutchens (Dave) of Michigan; grandchildren, Sonya Tuttle of Anderson, Missouri, Jeff Barber (Vivian) of Washburn, Missouri, Stacy Barber of Centerton, and Lance Barber (Dayna) of Cassville, Missouri; 10 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren; and many beloved friends.

A visitation will be on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 5 until 7pm in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be at Benton County Memorial Park on Friday, April 29 at 11am.
