Georgia “Evelyn” Clark
Georgia “Evelyn” Clark, age 90, of Grants Pass, Oregon, went to meet her Lord on June 29, 2016.She was born on October 5, 1925, to the Reverend George and Lucy Seely in Medford, Oregon. She met the love of her life, Ron, when she was just 14 years old and two years later the love birds got married on November 1, 1941. They enjoyed 74 years and 8 months of married bliss, just shy of their 75th anniversary. They started their family and had four children, Bonnie, Marie, Ronnie and Bob. Evelyn was employed at Ole’s Hamburger, Penny’s, Chet’s Florist and Rogue River Florist. She traveled abroad and visited Mexico, British Columbia, and enjoyed trips to Yellowstone National Park and Hawaii. She also loved spending time with family and friends, camping, fishing, baking, gardening, her daily devotion with her husband and a cup of coffee! Evelyn faithfully attended the Apostolic Faith Church where she played both the organ and accordion for many years. She is survived by her husband Ron Clark and children, Bonnie, Marie, Ronnie and Bob. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Charles, James, Gene and Ralph; and a sister Vivian. A Celebration of Life will be held for Evelyn at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at the Apostolic Faith Church at 422 Northwest F Street, Second and F Streets, in Grants Pass, OR. Pastor John Jordan will be officiating.
