9/1/1944 – 4/9/2020 Age 75. Elaine was born in Flint, MI. She went to High School at St. Matthews Catholic School in Flint, MI (1962). She raised 4 children which kept her very busy. After the kids were raised, she had a lot of fun and she deserved it. Elaine single-handedly kept Aquanet Hairspray in business. Her hair was always perfect. She was a Huge, Huge Red Wings fan. She never missed an episode of Days of our Lives on TV. Elaine went on a ton of Cruises all over the world. Elaine loved, loved all of her cats and dogs over the years, but denied being a Cat Lady. She was the best Euchre player wherever she played. She spent a lot of cash at the penny slots at the casinos. Mema was the most gentle, nicest person you ever met, but don’t get her stuck at a timeshare sales pitch! Preceded in death by: Husband LaVerne Speace Jr, Mother Theda Metzger, Father Paul Seeley Sr, Sister Marlene Timlick, 2nd Husband Keith Shuck, and Doc the Dog. Survived by: Children Tonya Speace, Troy Speace (Kim), Tasha Spillers (Mike), Tressa McGuire (Michael), and longtime life partner Tracy Smith. Grandchildren: Trisha, David Jr, Douglas, Tory, Amanda, Courtney, Alexandria, Meagen, Drew, Noah, Sean, Leah and 6 great grandchildren. There will be no services at this time because of the Virus Pandemic. We look forward to a Celebration of her life in the near future. We will notify people when that will take place.
