Edith T. Wrigley

Edith T. Wrigley, 84, a resident of Hallmark Care Center, Mount Vernon, died there Saturday afternoon following a long illness.  Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Murdock Funeral Home, Marion, where friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday.  Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.

Survivors include four daughters, Mary Powers, Violet Patterson and Bertha Fenton, all of Cedar Rapids, and Wanita Landers of Marion: two sons, Jack Wrigley Jr. of Cedar Rapids and Norman Seeley of Anamosa; two sisters, Wilma Hogan of Pontiac, Mich., and Ruth Pillard of Marion; and a brother, Max Seeley of Anamosa.

Also surviving are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Born the daughter of William B. and Mary Alice Stout Seeley on Oct. 9, 1907, in Oxford Mills, she married Jack Wrigley in 1939 in Marion.  He died Feb. 10, 1972.  A longtime resident of Marion, she was a member of Marion Senior Citizens and Hope Lutheran Church, Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Wilma Hall and Wanda Yarrington; three sisters, Bessie Beyers, Florence Morehouse and Mildred Kircherner; and six brothers, Ray, Robert, Charlie, Harlan, Don and Norman Seeley.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dr. David Young will officiate.  A memorial funeral has been established.
