Mrs. Edith Sharpe, Coolidge Ave., Dies

Mrs. Edith Sharpe, 21 Coolidge Ave., Carbondale, died yesterday afternoon at home after an illness.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Lewis R. and Nettie McGowty Seeley, she was a life-long resident of Carbondale.  Mrs. Sharpe was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Carbondale, and the Woman’s Association of the church.

Surviving are her husband, Edward H.; a daughter, Mrs. George Dobasewski, Carbondale, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Monday at 2 P.M. from the Shifler Funeral Home. 94 North Main St., Carbondale, with the Rev. Charles F.J. Starzer, pastor, First Presbyterian Church, officiating.  Interment, Canaan Corners Cemetery.

Friends may call today from 7 to 9 P.M. and tomorrow from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M.

Funeral Is Conducted For Mrs. Edith Sharpe

The funeral of Mrs. Edith Sharpe, 21 Coolidge Ave., took place today with services in charge of the Rev. Charles F. J. Starzer, pastor of First Presbyterian Church.

Interment, Canaan Corners Cemetery, Waymart.  Pallbearers: Raymond Seeley, William Evans, Edgar Blake, Donald O’Boyle, Buel Gardner and John Dobasewski.
