Dorothy Ruth Hudelson
Mrs. Dorothy Ruth “Seely” Hudelson, age 84, of Coopersville, passed away peacefully into eternal life on Thursday, November 29, 2007, at St. Mary’s Hospital after a very brief illness. She will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Daniel Hudelson, Rebecca Richard Potter, Mark Debora Hudelson, Pamela Marc Amante, David Hudelson and special friend, Becky Snippe; daughter-in-law, Connie Sherman; grandchildren, Darrell Cherie Johnson, Melissa Chuck Reister, Steve Potter, Shawn Potter, Casey Doug Elkins, Brandy Hudelson, Michelle Matthew Conley, Marc Amante II, Megan Amante, Nicholas Aston Hudelson, Zachary Hudelson, Benjamin Hudelson; 12 great grandchildren with baby 13 expected in February; and sister, Virginia Miller; and brother, Richard Seely; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister, Harriett Vroman; brothers, Arthur Seely and Robert Seely; and infant daughter, Monica Breen. Dorothy was born in 1923 in Ft. Wayne, IN. She retired as an LPN from Ferguson Hospital in 1988. She enjoyed classical music, gardening, reading, cross-word puzzles and Jeopardy! A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held Saturday, December 1, 2007, 1:00 p.m., at Allendale Wesleyan Church, 6651 Scott St., Allendale with Rev. Jim Manis officiating.
