Mt. Pleasant, UT-Donna Mae Jensen passed away quietly in her sleep on Monday, August 8, 2016 just after midnight due to complications caused by pneumonia. Donna was born June 28, 1937 to parents Lee Adair Seely and Verda Mae Stewart of Mt. Pleasant, UT. She married the love of her life Verl Quinn Jensen May 29, 1965. A grandma above all and beloved by all her grandchildren: Zakary, Kaylee, Jacob, Madison, Abraham, Jace, Aliyah, Logan, Sam and Mariah. She is survived by her husband Verl, two children Michael (Elizabeth) & Melissa (Ryan) McArthur, Sister Darlene (Douglas) O’leary, Brother Lannie (Kathy) Seely, Brother Larry (Monalee) Seely, sister-in-law Shirley Seely and countless hundreds who knew her as Mom, Aunt Donna, or Grandma Donna. Donna loved serving others. Whether it was some of her favorite times in the Stake Relief Society, gardening and canning for her family, volunteering in the 4-H or just providing ice cold popsicles at every Mt Pleasant Independence Day parade Donna was always right there with a smile on her face and a hug. She lived a life of love for anyone she met and her reach is unfathomable. Anyone who knew her would be unsurprised to learn that she was sassy and sweet to the very end. Preceded in death by her parents, Lee & Verda Seely, Her Brother Jerald Seely and her Granddaughter Mariah Jensen. She will be missed by many.
Viewing to be Friday, August 12th at 11:00am with Funeral services following at 1:00pm at the Mt Pleasant, UT 3rd ward chapel (the yellow church) followed by interment at the Spring City, UT cemetery.
