Dolores Virginia Hopkins, 78, died Monday, March 21, 2005, at the Sentara Careplex.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Newport News where she was a resident of Wellesley Commons. Mrs. Hopkins was a retired LPN and a professional artist.
Survivors include her three sons, Bill Goodwin and his wife, Becky, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, John R. Goodwin and his wife, Donna, of Newport News, and Bobby Watson and his wife, Grace, of Azle, Texas; her daughter, Sharon Crosby and her husband, Philip, of Newport News; one brother, John D. Sealey and his wife, Jane, of Newport News; her eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and her beloved pets, Peanut and Baby.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 24, at the Weymouth Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 25, at Peninsula Memorial Park.
