Donald W. Seeley, 57, of Elwell, passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, at Carson City Hospital in Carson City.
Funeral services are Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Berry Funeral Home in Shepherd with Deacon John Wilberding officiating. Interment will be in Salt River Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. with the family present from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Berry Funeral Home.
Donald W. Seeley was born Aug. 19, 1950, in Shepherd, the son of Albert and Beatrice (Roberson) Seeley. Don retired from GM in 1999, after 30 years of service. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and boating. He was an avid bowler, having bowled in several leagues.
He is survived by three children, Kim (Doug Chellis) Parrish and Dawn Harvey, both of Mt. Pleasant, and Shawn (Heather) Seeley of Alma; seven grandchildren; four brothers, Robert (Mary) Seeley of St. Louis, Richard (Diane) Seeley of Elwell, and Neal (Brenda) Seeley of Vestaburg; three sisters, Margie (Don) Rauchenberger of Harrison, Barb (Howard) Homister of Mt. Pleasant and Bonnie (Marvin) Loomis of Weidman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Beatrice Seeley; a sister, Phyllis Balcom; and a nephew and a niece.
