Edward C. Seeley
Chestertown – Edward C. Seeley, 87, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Fort Hudson Nursing Home, Fort Edward.
Born May 2, 1920, in New York City, he was the son of the late Edward C. and Anna (McGuir) Seeley.
Mr. Seeley served during WWII in the U.S. Army as a private first class in Europe. He was a telephone repairman for more than 40 years. He worked for Western Electric, Bell and retired from NYNEX.
Besides his parents he is predeceased by his wife, Eleanor Yoston Seeley and son-in-law, Zachary (Zack) Maimone.
Survivors include one daughter, Dawn Maimone of Chestertown; one son, Stephen Seeley of Bradenton, Fla.; one brother, Charles Seeley; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, Long Island, N.Y.
