GILLETTE – Services for E. Adeline Forsha, 78, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Leland Rubesh officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pisgah Cemetery.
Mrs. Forsha died Feb. 6 at Pioneer Manor in Gillette.
She was born Oct. 28, 1902 at Afton, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Harriett Seeley. She attended schools in Afton and moved with her family by train to the Rozet community, east of Gillette.
In 1920, she married George Brandner and they made their home south of Gillette on the G-M Ranch on the Belle Fourche River where they were engaged in sheep and cattle ranching until his death in 1943.
In 1945, she married William J. Forsha and they lived at 600 Rock Ave., until they moved into the Pioneer Apts., last May.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Order of Eastern Star, Jewel Chapter of Rebekah Lodge #28, and was a member of the hospital auxiliary for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include her husband of Gillette, one step-son, W. (Billy) Forsha of Buffalo; five daughters, Mrs. Pauline Wilson and Mrs. Helen Dunlap, both of Gillette; Mrs. Marge Davis of Casper; Mrs. Joan Brandner of Riverton, and Mrs. Betty Roudebush of Lakewood, Calif., two step-daughters, Mrs. June Reichert of Lakewood Colo and Mrs. JoAnn Duffield of Arvada, Colo., 16 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
Memorials to Pioneer Manor would be appreciated by the family. Memorials may be left at Knoecker Funeral Home, who is in charge of arrangements.
