Dorothy Gentry Lupton-Beach, 98, of Hendersonville, N.C., and formerly of Largo, died Wednesday (Feb. 4, 1998) at The Life Care Center of Hendersonville. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., came to Largo in 1957 from Teaneck, N.J., and moved in 1990 to Hendersonville. She worked 20 years as an executive secretary for American Red Cross, Teaneck, and was a chairwoman of a camp and hospital committee during World War II. She volunteered as a Gray Lady at Bergen Pines Hospital, Bergen, N.J., and the VA Medical Center at Bay Pines. Survivors include two sons, Donald L., Clearwater, and Robert A., Hendersonville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. Shuler and Luck Funeral Home, Hendersonville.
