Scarborough – Herbert “Herb” L. Cilley, 78, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012 after a long illness. He was born in Portland, Maine on January 13, 1934 to the late Bernard and Katherine (Maxwell) Cilley. Herb married his love, Camilla (Frisco) Cilley they were married for 32 years. He served in the United States Marine Corps and retired after 21 years. Herbs favorite passed time was spent at home with his family. He also enjoyed beano, crossword puzzles, fishing, antique cars and using his computer. Herb was a 30 year member of the American Legion. He is survived by his loving wife, Camilla; children, Ty Cilley, Bruce Cilley, Mark Cilley; step-son, Gay Pontau; siblings, Jane Sampson, Winona Cilley, Joann Winslow, Bertha Lapan, Bernard Cilley, Philip Cilley. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 27, 2012 at 10 am at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. Portland. Interment will be in the spring. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Ste 300 Topsham, ME 04086.
