Mr Claude Louis Sealey, 71

APEX — Claude Louis Sealey, age 71, of 1405 Farrington Rd., Apex, NC, died March 3, 2006 in the UNC Hospital due to an extended illness. Mr. Sealey was a retired farmer and a general painter. He was well known for his barbecue chickens and peanut brittle cooking.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Bell’s Baptist Church, 1274 Farrington Rd., Apex, NC. Officiating will be Rev. Rick Washington and Rev. Steve Moore. Burial will follow in the Bell’s Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors are: his wife, Clara Holt Sealey of the home; two daughters, Wanda Sealey Kidd of Pittsboro, NC, Scarlet Sealey Jewell and husband, Alan of Graham, NC; three brothers, James Sealey and wife, Brenda of Clayton, NC, Russell Sealey of Raleigh, John Sealey and wife Maude of Clayton; three sisters, Elsie Kirk of Clayton, NC, Edna Capps and husband, Donald of Clayton, Rita Cook of Selma, NC; three grandchildren: Lauren Rebecca Kidd, Michael Travis Kidd, Amber Michelle Jewell; a step-grandchild, Candace Jewell Humphrey.

Memorials may be given to the Bell’s Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 6, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. at Apex Funeral Home, 550 West Williams St. (Hwy 55) Apex, NC; and other times at the home, 1405 Farrington Road, Apex, NC.
