DYLAN SEALEY

Dylan “Bub” Sealey, age 21 passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 in Gainesville. Beloved son, grandson, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, and friend, he was born on May 19, 1992 in Gainesville to Donna Sealey and Daniel Joiner. Dylan graduated from PK Yonge in 2010. He worked at Publix, Millhopper.

Bub’s true love was spending time with family and friends. He loved the beach, cookouts, playing baseball, cooking, he was “grill master”, and just having a good time. He had an easy way of making people smile and could always make you laugh. When asked, the closest people to him described him as caring, thoughtful, very respectful, vibrant, independent, loveable, real, smart, stubborn, loyal, proud, goofy, funny, prideful, hardheaded, family man, and the best one of all… a momma’s boy. He was a best friend to many. He was an amazing brother that would have done anything for his sisters. He loved his mother “to the moon and back”. He loved his family more than anything. He was full of life and always living the dream. He fought, he overcame, and he inspired. He was truly one of the most genuine people you’ll ever know. He was loved by so many.

Those left to cherish him are: his mother Donna Sealey-Cotrell; his stepfather Mark Cotrell; surrogate father figure Shawn “Stick” Carney; sisters Hannah, Steph, Megan, and Dana; brothers Wayne and Ryan; grandfather Gene Sealey; very special aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces, his extended 10th Terrace family, and many awesome friends. He was preceded in death by his father Danny Joiner, his grandmothers Jackie “Granny” Howell and Joann “Nanny” Morgan.

Bub you will be truly missed by all who have known you and whose hearts you touched in so many ways. We love you so much heaven’s newest angel.

Boog, Momma Dukes will forever love her precious baby boy to the moon and back.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 11:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Visitation from 10 to 11 at the church. Arrangements being handled by MILAM FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, GAINESVILLE, FL, 352-376-5361.
