Edwin Sealey, age 93, of Attica, Michigan passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility (known as Suncrest) in Lapeer, MI. Edwin Neal Sealey was born April 27, 1926 in Burnside Twp., MI. He is the son of the late Edward and the late Anna (Steinkoff) Sealey. He married Margaret Helen Hughes on April 23, 1949 at Brown City, Michigan. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret on January 10, 1997.  He retired after 35+ years, from Mechanical Handling Company (an overhead conveyor manufacturer for the auto industry) in 1986. He was a welder. After retirement he worked on his wife’s “honey do” list: painting, wallpaper, caning chairs. Ed was a member of Imlay City United Methodist Church. Ed enjoyed watching the Detroit sports teams: Tigers, Lions, Red Wings. He had a green thumb; he enjoyed growing plants and flowers.  He is survived by: his daughters: JoAnn Panduren of Marlette, MI and Laura Harris of Mio, Michigan; his sons: William (Rhonda) Sealey of North Branch, MI and David (Tammy) Sealey of North Branch, MI; sisters-in-law, Imogene Sealey of Brown City, MI and Miriam Sealey of Florida. Ed is also survived by twelve grandchildren: Jerome Harris, Matthew (Lori) Harris, Kimberly (Daniel) Bent, Sarah (Brian) Williamson, Heather (Josh) Ellis, Dan (Becky) Sealey, Miranda (Jason) McCrory, Melissa (James) Capps, Jason (Traci) Garcia, Maria (Chris) Conley, Monica (Chris) Newbery, Chelsea (Jose) Molina.; and twenty great-grandchildren. Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Sealey; sons-in-law, Richard Panduren and Kenneth Harris; and an infant daughter: Nancy Ann Sealey.  The funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home Of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Reverend Marcel Lamb, pastor of the Imlay City United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Brown City, MI. The family will be available for visiting hours from 2-5 & 6-8 pm Monday, May 13 and from 10-11 am Wednesday, May 14 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home Of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
